Arranged in six groups: ;I. Vocal scores (18). II. Vocal parts (12). III. Chorus parts (34). IV. Librettos (1). V. Promptbooks (17 in 19 vols.). VI. Dialogue parts (151). Vocal scores include French imprints by Brandus (Paris, 1882?) and Maquet (Paris, 188-?), printed from Brandus plates, and an English edition by Ditson (Boston, c1883). Remaining materials are for the English version, "Heart and hand." The vocal parts, all manuscripts, are in two sets. Chorus parts include a set of manuscript mimeos, several of which are severely damaged and incomplete, and a set of 5 (?) manuscript parts, one of which bears the initials C. F. W. and the date 1883 (?). The libretto was published by Ditson (Boston, 1883). Promptbooks include two manuscripts, one manuscript and eight typed copies for the Mc Caul [sic] version, four typed copies and one manuscript for the Duff version, and a three-volume manuscript for the "Mc Caull and Duff" version. Dialogue parts include four typescript sets for the Mc Caull version, four for the Duff version, and a set of manuscript parts.
